Should You Fill Your Car Tires With Nitrogen?

For years this question has been asked by drivers across the country ... 'Should I fill my car tires with nitrogen?"  As luck would have it, Consumer Reports has weighed in on the question and their answer may surprise you.  According to an article published by CR, the common belief is that tires filled with nitrogen will reduce air loss, boost your fuel economy, reduce rolling resistance, and improve safety.  However, testing conducted independently by Consumer Reports and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration shows the benefits are more theoretical than practical.  Check out the rest of the CR article here.
